The Department is planning to replace the polar supply vessel SA Agulhas. In consultation with National Treasury, it has been decided to investigate the possibility of procuring the new vessel by means of a Public Private Partnership. As a first step, bids are being called for the appointment of a Transaction Advisor to assist with the feasibility Study.
