Yes. Applicants should put their request in writing to the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism. Applicants applying for an exemption are encouraged to use the exemption application form, which is available on request from the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, as this could speed up the processing of the application. (application forms should be completed and forwarded to the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism)
